Am currently on a two-week break, with 1.5 weeks remaining. Aaaaaah, I'd forgotten what it was to be a Lady of Leisure.

Need a holiday. I need to be somewhere new, to feel, to see something new, to
breathe a different air. Things have been very mundane of late, very monotonous, very ... ordinary. I'm a person who loves order and control, yet I bore easily. Go figure. But I need to feel something new, urgently, just to break this funk of predictability I am in. I can't stand things being so...
routine. (Ooh! That dirty word!)
Bali? Phuket? Nope. Tsunami watch.
Bangkok? Chiang-mai? Nix that, baru kena bomb.
Singapore? Australia? Tokyo????? Mahal dei... Budget only RM1k la..
Sigh. I suppose I'll just have to wait for July 2007 and R&H's wedding in Devon. *glum*
I would love to see Venice. Siiiiiigh.

You know, my sister has this theory. She thinks that people write blogs because they are lonely and have nobody to turn to, that blogs serve as a surrogate shoulder to cry on. I suppose she isn't far off.
Of course, there is that whole Narcissus-complex to consider as well...
And yes, she has one too (a blog, that is, not a case of narcissism.. altho i may have to get back to you on the latter). ;oD
